...vagina doesn't make you a better parent.

Too often have I seen and heard of cases where the mother was granted custody on the grounds that it's apparently more suitable that the children be with their mother. It's even sadder that more often then not the mother turns out to be a neglectful, abusive bitch who only won custody because she has a vagina, and the father was treated with contempt.

Too often have I seen men who are great fathers be dismissed in child custody hearings because they 'don't have sufficient evidence to prove their accusations of abuse and/or neglect' against their wife and are themselves accused of being spiteful. Then they protest and end up being the ones who are fighting for equality whereas it should already exist in the court system.

Equality doesn't seem to mean a whole lot in this case.

thank you for making this. in one of my OC stories, an unmarried man adopts a young girl and raises her as his own daughter. i was thinking about doing a story where the beats the odds and overcomes all the misandry in society.

This is true. It's super annoying to see girls thinking that men are just stupid people that only drink beer and doesn't take care of their families (although some are like that).

Newsflash. Not only women help their familes and take care of them. Men do it too. We always see the point of view of a crying girl saying that men are this and that. But... what about OUR points of view? It's like no one even cares, and girls calls us rude? Smh.

The only reason my mum got custody of me was because she's a lady,yet I think my dad is a much better parent.That description is the truest thing i've read yet :L

That's pretty much what happened with my mother, she had custody of me and wasn't very good at being a mother to me and my maternal half-sister.

I don't know yet what went on between Mom and Dad after I was out of the hospital as a baby (I was a premmie, 1.08 lbs and barely survived), but now I'm 20 yrs old and free from my mother Dad can tell me everything.

My Dad's a very loving parent, but my mother wouldn't let me bond with him for many reasons she made up.

My dad was and still is a piece of shit father. Just like a lot of my friends dads are. Don't get me wrong there are good fathers just not a lot of them sadly. But it's not about having a vag, I had a relative that the court favor for the father who was molesting his own daughter. (mother wasnt any better becuz of her drug habit) Of course after 5 years of abuse they finally did something about it. It all just depends on people, people are bad no matter what's between your legs.

I agree with this one. I mean, I know I'd be a good mother, and I thank my own good parents for that.
But, I know of many mothers who should not be and I feel so bad for the children or child themselves.
